Who is YGP? - A personal statement on defamation, trauma, and why I write.
July 30, 2025
I’m a writer on AO3, known for my work in the Hakuouki fandom, particularly around the character Kazama Chikage. I’ve never sought attention. I write alone, think in solitude, and try to survive through fiction.
But in 2025, I was subjected to a coordinated campaign of defamation—not because I violated rules, but because I violated someone’s narrative control.
It began not with recurring fights, but with a single dispute involving a few Chinese users. That incident left a deep psychological mark on me. In response, I began writing Psychoanalytic Reflections on My Relationship with Kazama Chikage—a deeply introspective project that blended psychoanalysis and self-narrative. It was not a meltdown. It was an attempt to survive.
But my writing was not read—it was harvested. User “ladyyomi” began constructing a public persona for me: not as a writer, but as a “mad woman.”

She fabricated claims under the guise of “Chinese fandom backlash,” manipulating snippets of my literary prose to depict me as delusional, obsessive, and dangerous. She never debated me. She wrote a script, and made sure I was cast as the villain.
My trauma was turned into performance. My self-reflection became her courtroom evidence.
These accusations did not begin in private messages. They unfolded in public spaces — especially in AO3’s comment sections — under the guise of “Guest” anonymity.
Anonymous users repeatedly left comments accusing me of bullying, impersonation, and harassment. These messages did not just reflect misunderstanding. They fabricated a version of me — one that others could attack without accountability.
When I tried to respond or clarify, they claimed I was “harassing them” — as if my refusal to accept a false narrative was itself a kind of violence. But what choice did I have? To stay silent would be to let the lie grow unchecked.
I emphasize this because the anonymity of these comments allowed my identity to be rewritten in real time, without verification, without context, and without the ability to trace responsibility.
My response to these comments is not harassment. It is self-defense in a space where my name was dragged, my work misused, and my silence weaponized.
I want to be clear: my concern is not only the content of the anonymous attacks, but the relationships between these attacks and those who amplified them.
User “ladyyomi” did not just passively observe the Guest comments on AO3. She interacted with them. Referred to them. Quoted them. She treated these anonymous accusations as facts, and in doing so, helped establish a feedback loop where rumor became record.
I began to suspect that some of these comments were not separate actors, but part of a coordinated campaign — either through direct collaboration, or ideological alignment so tight that the boundaries blurred.
This is not about isolated cruelty. This is about a system of speech in which different accounts, real or anonymous, served different functions: Some to accuse. Some to legitimize. Some to silence me.
And Ladyyomi — whether as instigator, amplifier, or archivist — was at the center of it.
I want to emphasize: **this smear attack is not just a case of “misidentification.” **This was not confusion—it was a project. The reason they targeted me, chose me, is not only because of suspicion but also because I once had a close friendship with that creator who was cyberbullied—Autumn.
I spoke out when she was under siege, and I seriously read her writing and discussed character psychology with her. We resonated a lot in our writing and had emotional trust. She was not perfect, but I saw her striving to live and express herself. This relationship was a real, complex connection in my life.
However, after Autumn was banned and gradually erased collectively, they needed a scapegoat to continue redirecting their hostility. So, I became that “convenient heir”: They said I was her, said I was crazy, said I was her shadow, her reincarnation, her split personality, the echo she left behind after death.
This is not a case of mistaken identity; this is projection and reckoning. **I am not Autumn. **Nor am I the “crazy woman” they imagine me to be.
I am a writer. A person who, after being torn apart by reality, tries to rebuild the self through language.
This site exists because I refuse to vanish silently. I will not let them rewrite my work—or my mind—for me.
They said: “You are Autumn. You are the worst.” I say: “I am not what you named. I am the refusal of your story.” I’m the page that didn’t burn the way you wanted it to.
Actually they don’t need me to be Autumn. They just need someone to burn. I refused to catch fire quietly.
If you still insist I am a “madwoman,” then let this be the voice of madness: structured, reasoned, and written in 400,000 words. This number is greater than the total number of works posted by the autumn account.

Why remain anonymous? Because the content is quite sensitive and likely to cause conflicts, I understand that. Also, I suspect many people have blocked my account since the hits on my work barely increase. After I went anonymous, they ironically mocked me for “trying to bypass the block.”

It’s ridiculous that ladyyomi accuses me of being homophobic, transphobic, and anti-LGBT, but she never mentions that I write yaoi fiction.
