AO3 and Tumblr’s Hands Are on the Knife
August 21, 2025
I did not choose to spend my time writing long posts or documenting harassment. I was forced into this position because of AO3 and Tumblr’s repeated inaction. When a platform refuses to protect its users, the victims are left with no option but to record, archive, and speak out publicly.
The Tumblr account @anti-ygpgsgl-ygppoop-show is not engaging in ordinary fandom disagreements. It exists entirely to mock, defame, and harass me. Every post, every meme, every so-called “joke” is aimed at me personally. This is not debate, this is not criticism — it is targeted harassment.
More importantly, @anti-ygpgsgl-ygppoop-show does not act alone. It is part of a coordinated harassment network. The same small circle of users continuously interact with this account, amplify its posts, and create an echo chamber dedicated to my humiliation. This is not coincidence — it is organized abuse.
Let me be clear: tracking their activity is not my obligation. I only gathered evidence because the platforms failed to protect me. Yet my attempts to document abuse have been twisted into false accusations that I am “obsessed” or “delusional.” In reality, it is Tumblr and AO3’s refusal to act that has forced me into this exhausting and degrading position.
By leaving these people unchecked, the platforms have allowed them to freely defame me as someone else, face no consequences, and then twist my self-defense into a supposed “fetish” while mocking me publicly. This is what AO3 and Tumblr’s negligence has enabled.
I should not be ridiculed for documenting the abuse I face. The real issue is not my decision to defend myself, but the fact that @anti-ygpgsgl-ygppoop-show and its network of associates exist solely to tear me down, day after day, unchecked.
I am asking, clearly and firmly: this is not about isolated posts. This is a harassment blog embedded in a harassment network. Removing one or two posts is ineffective. I expect Tumblr and AO3 to take serious action — to remove @anti-ygpgsgl-ygppoop-show and the associated accounts coordinating with it, and to uphold the basic responsibility of ensuring that their platforms are not safe havens for abusers.
